The 2022 Islamic Solidarity Games, which is the 5th edition of the games is scheduled to be held from 9th to 18th August 2022 at Konya, Turkey.
The last edition was held in Baku, Azerbaijan during 2017.
Organised under the aegis of ISSF-Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, the 2022 event is being organised by the Turkish Olympic Committee. Formerly scheduled to take place from 20th to 29th August 2021, the event was postponed to be held from 10th to 19th September 2021 in July 2020, because the original dates were coinciding with the 2020 Summer Olympics, which were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During May 2021, the ISSF postponed the event to August 2022 citing the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the participating countries.
