On 5th day of 8th Benazir Bhutto National Tennis Championships 2022, Aqeel Khan, Muzammil Murataza , M. Abid and, M. Shoaib reached in Men’s Singles Semifinals. The best match played in this category was between M. Abid and Yusuf Khalil, M. Abid won the match after losing the first set by 5-7. Two players of Islamabad Tennis
complex, Abdul Basit and Hamza Murtaza, trained in Benazir Tennis Academy, reached in the semifinals of Boys U-14 category.

Today 1st and 2nd rounds for different categories were played which included Men’s Singles, Under 18 Boy’s, Under 14 Boy’s, Under 10 Boy’s, Under 12 and Men’s Doubles.
In the first round match of the Men’s Doubles, top seed Waqas Malik and Muhammad Abid defeated Muzzamil Murtaza and Mudassir Murtaza in straight set 6-4, 7-6 (5). 2nd set went very exciting and both pairs hold their serves brilliantly and did not allow opponents to overcome the scenario but in the tie break Muzzamil and Mudassir made unforced error at crucial stages where they lost the grip on the game and were defeated in straight sets.
