Shahroz Jacob, the Captain of KPK-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rugby Team, died (May his soul rest in peace) while on a holiday swimming trip.
According to information received, the 24 years old Jacob went to River Swabi during holidays. He drowned while trying to swim in the fast flowing water.
Jacob was part of the Pakistani Rugby fraternity for some years. In view of his performance in KPK Rugby, selectors had short listed him for the Pakistan Rugby Team camp.
