Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won the Javelin throw Gold of Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 with a throw of 90.18 meters.

Arshad’s throw is a new record of Commonwealth Games and also the first South Asian to reach the longest Javelin throw.

World Champion Anderson Peters from Grenada secured the second place with his best throw of 88.64 metres. After Arshad’s record Anderson also recorded a record of the longest ever second place throw in the history of the Commonwealth Games.

Kenya’s Julius Yego won the bronze with season’s best throw threw of 85.70 meters.
