Breaking Deepest Dive: World Record Broken; Victor Plunges 35,853 Feet

The deepest known point on Earth – the Mariana Trench’s Challenger Deep was conquered by explorer Victor Vescovo. He broke the world record and created history by making the deepest dive in history by plunging down to 35,853 ft.

The previous record was held in 2012 by James Cameron, the film director who reached 35,787 feet. 

Victor Vescovo depth was 66 feet deeper than the previous record for a solo dive. He has achieved this remarkable feat after having climbed the highest mountain in every of the world’s continents.
