Match day two of European Qualifiers though mostly played to the form, yet there were surprises too. Among the last scheduled fixtures, Scotland shocked Spain 2-0.

The second biggest football extravaganza in the world after the FIFA World Cup will see 23 teams joining the hosts Germany to vie for the trophy. Twenty teams will be from the top finishers of the on-going qualifying rounds whereas three will be the from the play-offs on above mentioned dates. 53 teams from member countries are competing However, Russia is not participating due to suspension.

The group stage matches are being played from March to November 2023 whereas the play-offs will be played on 21st and 26th March 2024.

Match Day-1 was held from 23rd to 25th March and Match Day–2 was played from 26th to 28th March, in continuation of the race to the European Championship to be held in June/July 2024 at Germany.

Match Day – 3 is scheduled in 23rd June.
