French Rugby: 19-year-old Teenager Dies After A Heart Attack

A 19-year-old French rugby player has died, in the wake of enduring a broken neck and a heart attack amid a game which was played a weekend ago.

Nicolas Chauvin who was a player of Stade Francais academy player continued to have the side affects of the injuries in a substantial tackle against Bordeaux-Begles and was raced to hospital, where a surgery was completed on his neck.

Nonetheless, Stade Francais have reported that Chauvin passed away after a heart failure and cerebral anoxia.

Tributes have poured in from over the rugby world for Chauvin.

The occurrence comes four months after the demise of another youthful French player, Louis Fajfrowski, who endured a heart attack after an overwhelming tackle in a pre-season game for Aurillac.

Various French rugby clubs, including Toulon and Toulouse have since presented tributes on the youngster’s tragic death via social media platforms.
