The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup is the crown jewel of women’s One Day International (ODI) cricket — first held in 1973, making it the oldest world championship in women’s sport. Defending champions Australia enter the 13th edition — co-hosted in 2025 by India and Sri Lanka — as firm favourites, having lifted the trophy seven times, most recently in 2022.

Eight women teams – India W, Sri Lanka W, Australia W, England W, New Zealand W, South Africa W, Pakistan W, Bangladesh W., are vying for the title this year
