Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Blind Cricket Series ’19 – 3rd T20I : Pakistan Sweep Series

COLOMBO: Pakistan overwhelmed Sri Lanka in 3rd T-20 International Match of the series by 8 wickets and clean-sweep by 3-0 in T-20 series. The 3rd and last T-20 match of the series was played at BRC Ground Colombo.

Pakistan clean sweep Sri Lanka in T-20 series as well, earlier Pakistan won the ODI series in the same fashion.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Clinical bowling and tight fielding didn’t allow the hosts to post a huge total. A. Silva made another century, his 2nd consecutive in this T-20 series. His 67 ball hundred helped the Lankans to score 194 runs in stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. The dismissed batsmen were Chandana Deshapriya, he made 29 runs and Ruwan Wasantha who couldn’t open his account. For Pakistan, Fakhar Abbas was the only successful bowler to claim a wicket.

Chasing 195, Pakistan sent Moeen Aslam and Sanaullah Khan to open the innings. Eighteen years old, Moen was playing his 1st T-20 innings and made a good impression with 39 ball 77 runs, he was caught on the bowling of Rajakaruna. Sanauallh played well for 67 runs off 31 balls, he was caught by Saman and Rajakaruna was again the bowler. Pakistan reached home safely in 14.4 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Shafiullah and Matiullah remained unbeaten on 24 and 11 runs respectively.
