Single’s: Serena Williams vs Evgeniya Rodina
Result: Serena Williams defeated Evgeniya Rodina by 6-2, 6-2.

- The Russian player, Evgeniya Rodina put up some fight in the opening set of the match but she eventually lost it in the end as she was only able to recover a total of two points.
