Match: Angelique Kerber vs Claire Liu

Summary: In the first set, the American player, Claire Liu faced a humiliating defeat as she was only able to score a total of two points throughout the set. However, in the second set, Claire Liu put up a good fight against her opponent but in the end, the German player, Angelique Kerber claimed her win in the first set as she scored the last two points in a quick succession.

In the decisive set, Angelique Kerber and Claire Liu again gave each other a tough fight but in the end, it was Angelique Kerber who sealed her win in this set by a margin of two points and made it to the next round.

Summary: Naomi Osaka and Katie Boulter both gave each other a tough fight in the opening set of the match but, it was the Japanese star player, Naomi Osaka who sealed her win in the end by scoring the last three points in a quick succession. However, in the second set, Katie Boulter fought well but bad luck again struck her and she lost the set in the end after dropping the last two points.

Result: Naomi Osaka defeated Katie Boulter by 6-3, 6-4. Naomi Osaka will now play against Angelique Kerber in the round of 32 of Wimbledon 2018.

 

Match: Daria Gavrilova vs Samantha Stosur

Summary: Samantha Stosur struggled hard in the first set, but despite her hard work and good efforts, she failed to win the set in the end as Daria Gavrilova scored the last two points in a quick succession.

An absolute and outstanding performance was again witnessed by the Australian star player, Daria Gavrilova in the second set. Daria Gavrilova not only took the lead but she gave a humiliating defeat to the Belarus player, Samantha Stosur by 6-1.

Although, Daria Gavrilova made a total of six double faults throughout the match as compared to Samantha Stosur who made only four in the whole match, but still Daria Gavrilova finally booked her place into the next round of Wimbledon Open.

Result: Daria Gavrilova defeated Samantha Stosur by 6-4, 6-1. Daria Gavrilova will now play against the Belarus star player, Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the round of 32 of Wimbledon 2018.

 

Match: Ashleigh Barty vs Eugenie Bouchard

Summary: A very tough battle was witnessed in the first set between the two players as both were scoring points quickly one after the other. But in the end, Ashleigh Barty won the set by scoring the last two points in a quick succession.

In the second set, both the players again gave an absolute and stunning performance as the score reached 5-5 after some time. But, the Australian player, Ashleigh Barty sealed her win in this set as she scored the last two points in a quick succession and finally made it to the next round of Wimbledon 2018.

Result: Ashleigh Barty defeated Eugenie Bouchard by 6-4, 7-5. Ashleigh Barty will now play against Daria Kasatkina in the round of 32 of Wimbledon 2018.

 

Match: Jelena Ostapenko vs Kirsten Flipkens

Summary: Jelena Ostapenko gave an exquisite performance in both the sets against Kirsten Flipkens. In the first set, however, Kirsten Flipkens took the lead but she was not able to extend it enough for her opponent. Jelena Ostapenko soon recovered the lead and finally gave a humiliating defeat to Kirsten Flipkens by a margin of five points.

In the second set, a similar defeat was witnessed as the Belgian player Kirsten Flipkens only managed to recover a total of three points and finally failed to make it to the next round.

Result: Jelena Ostapenko defeated Kirsten Flipkens by 6-1, 6-3. Jelena Ostapenko will now play against the Latvia star player, Vitalia Diatchenko in the round of 32 of Wimbledon 2018.

 

Match: Katerina Siniakova vs Ons Jabeur

Summary: Both the players gave each other a tough time throughout the match. Katerina Siniakova won the first set after a tough fight as Ons jabeur failed to score the last two points first in a quick succession. However, a tough fight was again witnessed in the second set between the two players, but in the end, Katerina Siniakova again sealed her win by quickly scoring the last two points first.

In the third set, the Tunisian player, Ons Jabeur did not stand back and played confidently throughout the set. However, bad luck struck her again as she lost the set in the end by a margin of two points.

Match: Aliaksandra Sasnovich vs Taylor Townsend

Summary: Aliaksandra Sasnovich gave an exquisite performance in both the sets against Taylor Townsend. In the first set, Aliaksandra Sasnovich gave a humiliating defeat to Taylor Townsend as she was not able to score a single point throughout the set.

However, in the second set, Taylor Townsend gave a tough fight, but despite her hard work and good efforts, she failed to win it as Aliaksandra Sasnovich scored the last two points in a quick succession.

Result: Aliaksandra Sasnovich defeated Taylor Townsend by 6-0, 6-4. Aliaksandra Sasnovich will now play against the Australian player, Daria Gavrilova in the round of 32 of Wimbledon 2018.
