Result: Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke defeated Gabriela Dabrowski and Mate Pavic by 6-3, 6-4.

Highlights:

  • Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke and Gabriela Dabrowski and Mate Pavic gave their best against each other in both the sets.
  • Gabriela Dabrowski and Mate Pavic were scoring points confidently in the opening set of the match and it looked they could seal their victory in this set.

  • However, after some time, the British pair, Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke started scoring points and took the lead.
  • In the end, Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke finally won the match as they did not let Gabriela Dabrowski and Mate Pavic to score the last three points first in quick succession.

  • The second set was also worth-watching as both the pairs were scoring points at a very swift pace one after the other.
