The revised schedule of Zimbabwe team tour to Pakistan in October-November has been announced by PCB-Pakistan Cricket Board.

The tour matches comprising of three T20Is and as many ODIs were to be held in Multan and Rawalpindi. According to information, the local government of Multan has asked PCB to pay PKR 200 million as rent for the ODI series. This has resulted in a dispute, due to which PCB has decided to shift the Multan matches to Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

The Zimbabwe tour will also serve for Pakistan as a launch pad to try and qualify directly for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 by taking on Zimbabwe in the three ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League matches in Rawalpindi. The Super League introduced by ICC in context to ODI cricket, serves as a qualification for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

20 October – Zimbabwe arrival in Islamabad
21-27 October – Isolation period & practice
28-29 October – Practice at Pindi Cricket Stadium
30 October – 1st ODI, Pindi Cricket Stadium
1 November – 2nd ODI, Pindi Cricket Stadium
3 November – 3rd ODI Pindi Cricket Stadium
4 November – Travel to Lahore
5-6 November – Practice at Gaddafi Stadium
7 November – 1st T20I Gaddafi Stadium
8 November – 2nd T20I, Gaddafi Stadium
10 November – 3rd T20I, Gaddafi Stadium
12 November – Zimbabwe departure for Harare
