Pakistan thrashed South Africa in the 2nd T-20 and sealed the T-20 series. Pakistan with this win has obtained the inaccessible lead of 2-0 in 3 T-20 match series. Third and last T-20 will be played on 8th March 2022 at the same venue.

In reply, Pakistan reached the target of 110 runs with ease in just 15.3 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Zafar Iqbal was the star with the bat; he scored 44 runs off 53 balls while Muhammad Rashid made 30 runs off 30 balls. Anathi Xelelo took 1 wicket for South Africa.
