How the WESPA Scrabble World Ranking Works – RJR System
WESPA moved to the RJR Rating System on 1 January 2025. All tournament games since 1 January 2006 are now rated. Core rules:
- Eligibility: 50+ WESPA-rated games and activity within 24 months to appear on the Scrabble World Rankings.
- Starting Point: New players begin at 1500.
- K-Factor: Depends on rating deviation. Players with fewer recent games move faster.
- Event Weight: WESPAC, Summit Cup, and national championships carry full weight.
- Inactivity: Players drop off the active list after 2 years without WESPA-rated play.
