Breaking Marathon World Record: Smashed By Kosgei
CHICAGO: 25 year old Kenyan Brigid Kosgei broke the world record at the Chicago Marathon and winning the IAAF Gold Label road race in 2:14:04. This was announced by IAAF press report.
With this Paula Radcliffe’s 16 year old world marathon record, has been broken.
The Kenyan ran 2:14:04 to beat Radcliffe’s time of 2:15:25 by an astonishing time of 81 seconds.
