The highlight of Women’s Singles was none other than Petra Kvitova who won the Madrid Open 2018 to jump 2 ranks up the Women’s rankings and is currently ranked number 8.
Although, Karolina Pliskova lost to Petra Kvitova in the Semi-finals, however she gained enough points to break into the Top 5 and is now ranked 5th in the Tennis rankings.
