• On Day 4 of this test, the pitch remained bating friendly as Kohli and Karthik came out to bat with India needing 84 runs and 5 wickets in hand. For England, EAnderson started it off with the old ball.

• Pandya joined Kohli. The pair added 21 runs to the total as Virat Kohli reached yet another half century.
• Now, Stokes was given the ball by Joe Root. And, this proved to be the penultimate over for England as the all rounder snuffed the wicket of Kohli.

• Mohammad Shami joined Pandya, but two balls later he too fell to the dangerous Stokes. India were now 8 wickets down and still needed 51 runs to win this match.
• Ishant Sharma joined Pandya. After adding a crucial 13 runs on the board, Adil Rashid pinned Ishant Sharma lbw, with England only needing 1 wicket to win.

• Umesh Yadav joined Pandya. At this point, India needed 54 runs to win with Pandya being their last hope.
• But, after adding only 8 runs this partnership was broken by none other than Stokes who claimed the wicket of Pandya and England won this match.
