Brief-World Team Cup Wheelchair Tennis
The BNP Paribas World Team Cup Wheelchair Tennis is the International Tennis Federation’s (ITF) flagship wheelchair tennis team event. It’s often referred to as the Davis Cup and Fed Cup of wheelchair tennis, where players compete for their country to become world team champions.

The event features four categories: Men’s, Women’s, Quads, and Juniors. The competition has grown significantly since its inception in 1985, with over 100 teams from around 50 countries participating each year.

The tournament typically takes place over a one-week period in a different host city each year. Regional qualifying events are held to determine the teams that will compete in the finals. BNP Paribas has been the title sponsor of the event since 2012.

Recent tournaments have taken place in Antalya, Turkey, and Colombo, Sri Lanka, with the 2024 event won by Great Britain’s men’s team.
