According to data given by Rugby Services Manager of Pakistan Rugby Union Syed Mozzam Ali shah that thousands of school, college boys and girls learn basics about rugby in GIR rugby sessions. PRU`s Development officers visited hundreds of schools in various parts of countries to introduced GIR Basic Rugby program.
He told In South Punjab we cover Bahwalngar, Bahawalpur, Mehlsi, Kot Addu, Multan, Vehari, Kamalia, Haroon Abad, Fort Abbas and many small towns schools. In this part of Punjab Girls and boys both have very good talent and want to learn. Many school invited PRU development manger itself to train their kids. PRU also Distributed Rugby balls to the schools kids that they continue to play rugby.
In North Division Islamabad, KPK, Fata all covered by PRU Development Managers. Lot of new talent seen in Fata and KPK. In Karachi GIR sessions conducted in various schools and colleges.
Pakistan is fasts growing country in Asia and PRU GIR program is one of best program in world and we are in top ten rugby nation in GIR Mozzam Added. In last quarter of 2016 PRU got very good success in GIR Program.
