LAHORE: The 1st T20  of the Pakistan-Nepal Women Blind Cricket Series, was played at Kinnaird College for Women University Lahore. Nepalese tea, playingextraordinarily outplayed Pakistan and won by 10 wickets.

For record the interesting fact is that this match was the first ever International Twenty-20 in the history of Women Blind Cricket.

Nepal won the toss and put Pakistan into bat. Pakistan Women Blind Cricket Team is relatively new and inexperienced side could not play well in their first game. Pakistan Women were bowled out on 53 runs in 11.3 overs.

Kiran was the top scorer for Pakistan with 9 runs and Nimra remained unbeaten on 6 runs. Eight (8) players of Pakistan team threw their wickets away in the shape of run-out. Sinita and Bhagwati claimed a wicket a piece.

Nepal displayed good cricket in batting as well, they chased the total of 54 runs in just 5 overs without losing a wicket. Binita and Mankesi remained unbeaten on 28* and 19 runs respectively.

Result: Nepal won by 10 wickets

Syed Sultan Shah Chairman PBCC, Major Pawan Ghimrie Chairman Cricket Association of the Blind in Nepal distributed prizes among the players.

PBCC acclaimed the efforts of Kinnaird College for Women University and gave honorary shields to Miss Khan, Vice Principal, Kinnaird College for Women University and Miss Ammara Rubab, Director Sports Kinnaird College.
