2026 Integrity Actions

2026-02-04Two sanctions issued for match-fixing and corrupt approaches The ITIA confirmed that Gustavo Tedesco from Brazil and Gyulnara Nazarova from Russia were sanctioned for separate breaches of the anti-corruption program. Tedesco, aged 21, was suspended for two years and three months after admitting to contriving the outcome of matches in 2022. Nazarova, a 27-year-old former player, received a four-year ban for making corrupt approaches to another player in 2019.

2025-12-19Chinese tennis player suspended for twelve years for match manipulation Pang Renlong from China admitted to fixing five matches and making seventeen corrupt approaches to other professional players in 2024. Due to the volume of violations, the ITIA issued a severe twelve-year suspension and a significant fine, with a portion of the penalty suspended on condition of future compliance.

The investigation revealed that the players failed to meet mandatory reporting requirements regarding corrupt approaches during their time on the professional circuit.
