The 21st Asian Squash Team Championship the Day 2 matches were played at Cheongju International Squash Stadium, Korea. Being held between 31st Oct – 4th November, 2022, the standing of the 12 Men teams, which have been divided into 2 Pools is as follows:

On the 2nd day of the championship, Pakistan team lost to India by 0-3 in the morning session. Abhay Singh bt Farhan Mehboob 11-5, 11-8, 11-8, Ramit Tandon bt M Hamza Khan 11-5, 11-6, 11-6 and Saurav Ghosal bt Noor Zaman 11-5, 11-6, 11-3.

In their 4th match, Pakistan lost to Kuwait by 0-3. Ali Alramezi bt M Hamza Khan 11-5, 11-9, 12-10, Abdullah Almezayen bt Ahsan Ayaz 11-5, 11-6, 11-5 and Ammar Altamimi bt Noor Zaman 11-3, 11-2, 11-0.

Day 1 Overview

The 21st Asian Squash Team Championship commenced at Cheongju International Squash Stadium, Korea. Being held between 31st Oct – 4th November, 2022, a total of 12 Men teams are participating, which have been divided into 2 Pools. 

Pool A: India, Qatar, Pakistan, Kuwait, Korea and Chinese Taipei.

Pool-B: Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, Iran, Philippines and Singapore.

Pakistan team played its first Pool match against Chinese Taipei today in the morning session and won by 3-0.  Noor Zaman bt Cheng-Yao HUANG 11-8, 8-11, 13-15, 11-7, 11-7, Farhan Mehboob bt Chih-Yu WEE 11-2, 11-8, 11-6 and M Hamza Khan bt Wun-Lin CHEN 11-4, 11-6, 11-6.

In the 2nd match Pakistan also won from Korea by 3-0.  Noor Zaman bt Minwoo LEE 2-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-5, 11-8, Farhan Mehboob bt Jooyoung NA 3-11, 11-9, 11-9, 9-11, 11-9 and Muhammad Hamza Khan bt Se-Hyun LEE 11-3, 11-6, 15-13.

Pakistan team will play against Kuwait on 1 November, 2022.
