 The opener was provionally suspended by the PCB in February as part of a probe into corruption in the Pakistan Super League.
Latif pleaded not guilty and reported to an Anti-Corruption Tribunal for a preliminary hearing at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on Friday.
The 31-year-old has been charged with breaches relating to spot-fixing and failing to report approaches or invitations made to him with a view to engaging in corrupt conduct.
Latif has until May 5 to respond to the charges and his final hearing will start on May 19.
Pakistan paceman Mohammad Irfan was on Thursday banned for a year after pleading guilty to two breaches of its anti-corruption code.
Sharjeel Khan and Shahzaib Hasan have also been suspended by the PCB following an investigation.
