Punjab U-15 Boys Football Cup: Day 2 – Lahore Topples Rawalpindi

LAHORE: Lahore U-15 football team continued their dominating performance on the second day in Punjab U-15 Boys Football Cup when they overwhelmed Rawalpindi by a big difference of 5-0.

This was the second match of championship at Punjab Football Stadium.

Lahore boys demonstrated wonderful ball control right from the beginning and did not give their opponents any room to settle down. Lahore’s striker Mehdi netted three goals while Waqar and Hashim shared the remaining two goals.

All the nine Divisional teams of Punjab have been divided into three groups as follows:

  • Group A – Lahore, Rawalpindi and DG Khan.
  • Group B – Multan, Sargodha, Faisalabad.
  • Group C – Sahiwal, Bahawalpur and Gujranwala.

Sports Board Punjab, according to the approved FIFA rules is organizing the championship in collaboration with Punjab Football Association (PbFA).
