The Hockey legendary Olympian Asad Malik aged 78 died ( إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ‎ – Surely we belong to ALLAH-GOD and to Him shall we return) in a road accident.

He was known for his memorable performances which facilitated Pakistan to win 3 Gold Medals and 3 Silver Medals in Olympic Games and Asian Games from 1962 to 1972.

Funeral of the deceased Asad Malik will be held on 28th July at Jinnah Park, Sheikhupura.
