Ronaldo Nazario
Ronaldo was born on 18 September 1971 in Brazil.
- Known as El Fenomeno, Ronaldo is widely considered as one of the greatest players to ever grace the pitch. He is by far the greatest striker of all time. Feints, flair, speed, strength, technique, ball control, balance, agility, intelligence, playmaking and clinical finishing.
- Started at Cruzeiro, due to his performances he transferred to PSV. 30 goals at the age of 17.
- Ronaldo took his 2 year tally to 54 goals in 58 games. Thus, earning a transfer to FC Barcelona in 1996. In the Blaugrana he played sensational.
- He left for Inter Milan in 1997. This was probably the most dangerous Ronaldo ever seen. At 20 years of age, Ronaldo became the youngest Ballon d’Or winner in history by winning it in 1997 and this record stands today as well.
- Having signed for Real Madrid for €46 million, his jersey sales broke all records on the first day. Ronaldo was part of the Galácticos era of global stars signed by the club every summer, which included Zinedine Zidane, LuĂs Figo, Roberto Carlos and David Beckham
- At international stage he dominated as well. Leading his side to the 1998 WC final but won the 2002 WC with them.
