WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Asuka managed to escape the recent shooting at a Las Vegas Mall that had injured three people.

Asuka shared the ordeal on her social media account narrating the terrifying experience of escaping an active shooter by hiding in a shop until the police arrived and apprehended the assaulter.


According to a place statement following the shooting, three people were hospitalized in critically injured condition. They called the shooting an ‘isolated incident’ and assured the Las Vegas community that no further attacks were expected.

Fans of WWE star were relieved to know about her safety and cautioned her about the prevalent culture of gun shootings in the USA.

Asuka is one of the most prominent breakout WWE stars of the modern era as she remained the undisputed NXT champion for three years straight.

The 38-year-old will be facing off the American Becky Lynch on this Sunday’s Royal Rumble for the WWE Women’s title. The Japanese wrestler is hoping to repeat last year’s feat where she downed Lynch with a knockout.
