Breaking Madrid Open ’19: Djokovic’s 3rd Title; Records 1000 Title, 33rd Masters

Novak Djokovic the World No. 1 won the Madrid Open 2019 for the third time by beating Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Novak commented that after Australian Open he was not in best of his form and was trying to gain momentum. He elaborated that winning Madrid Open was every important to especially gain confidence. 

Novak Djokovic is eager to make history by winning the French Open, which is to be held between 20th May – 9th June 2019. 

Having equaled Nadal’s record of Masters 1000 triumphs, if Novak wins the French Open title for the second time, he will hold all four Grand Slam titles.
