Pakistani batsman Muhammad Hafeez and the British opener Tom Banton have been elevated in ICC T20I Men’s Player Rankings. The decision was based on their performance in 3 T20Is played on 28th, 30th August and 1st September between Pakistan and England at Old Trafford.

Muhammad Hafeez moved up from 68th to 44th in ICC T20I Men’s Player Rankings, after being the best batsman of the 3 T20I series. Hafeez scored 155 runs including a player of the match effort of 86 not out in the final match. He was also the Player of the T20I Series scoring 155 runs, including two half-centuries.

Tom Banton’s total score of 137 runs in 3 T20Is, including 71 in the opening match, elevated him 152 places to reach 43rd position in ICC T20I Men’s Player Rankings.
