The match between Brentford and Manchester City was postponed due to latter’s involvement in Club World Cup Final. Manchester City defeated Brazilian club Fulminense to lift the trophy. recent times. The match between Bayern Munich and Union Berlin postponed due to heavy snow the previous week has not yet been rescheduled. Bayern Munich returned to the winning ways by solidly defeating VfB Stuttgart who in turn lost their 3 rd position on the table. England captain Harry Kane of Bayern remains the leading scorer in the league and has scored 20 goals so far including 3 hat-tricks.

To adjust the domestic as well as European schedules, two MatchDays were played during the week in the top England league.
