Pakistan’s rising squash talents clinched 4 gold and 1 silver delivering an impressive performance at the Australian Junior Open Squash, held from April 13 to April 17, 2025, at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.

U-17 Girls Squash: (GOLD)

Mehwish Ali retained her Girls U-17 crown in style, sweeping past Eden-Alma Poulava 11-5, 11-5, 11-7 in the final. The top seed was in unstoppable form all tournament, going undefeated without losing a single set.

U-17 Boys Squash: (GOLD)

Azan Ali Khan claimed the Boys U-17 title with an authoritative 11-6, 11-4, 11-9 victory over local favorite Henry Kross. As of March, Khan holds the No. 2 ranking in Pakistan in the Boys U-17 category.

U-13 Girls Squash: (GOLD)

Mahnoor Ali clinches Girls U-13 title, sweeps Riyo Kawabata in final. The 12-year-old Pakistan No. 1 stays unbeaten with straight-set wins throughout.

U-11 Boys Squash: (GOLD)

Ahmad Ali Naz brought home Pakistan’s youngest gold, defeating local favorite Freddie Goldsmith 3-1 in the Boys U-11 final. The top-ranked Pakistani in his age group started strong with an 11-5 win, stumbled in the second (2-11), but bounced back to finish the job in style

U-15 Girls Squash: (Silver)

Sehrish Ali delivered a gritty performance. However, it was Japan’s top seed Emily Senior who emerged victorious with a hard-fought 3-2 win.Senior edged out the opening set 15-13, but Sehrish bounced back emphatically with an 11-5 win in the second. The third game saw another close battle, with Senior narrowly claiming it 12-10.
