Squash – Women’s World Junior C’ship ’19, Malaysia: Chinese Taipei To Make Debut  

Chinese Taipei will be making debut in the 2019WSF Women’s World Junior Team Squash Championship, to be held in Malaysia during August 2019.

To be hosted for the 3rd time by the SRAM – Squash Rackets Association of Malaysia, the 2nd year consecutive World Squash Federation event will take place in the capital Kuala Lumpur from 5th-9th August at the National Squash Centre. This will be after the WSF Men’s & Women’s World Junior Individual Championships from 30th July to 4th August.

The 2019 team championships will be competed by 18 nations, which include:

  • Australia,
  • Canada,
  • Chinese Taipei,
  • Egypt,
  • England,
  • France,
  • Hong Kong China,
  • India,
  • Ireland,
  • Japan,
  • Malaysia,
  • New Zealand,
  • Republic of Korea,
  • Singapore,
  • South Africa,
  •  Sweden,
  • Switzerland and
  • USA.

The title will be defended by the 8 time championsEgypt who won for a sixth successive time in 2017 in New Zealand.

During 2019, it will the 18th edition of The Women’s World Junior Team Championship, since the inaugural event in Ireland in 1985. The first event was won by Australia, who thereby became the first champions.
