The ITF-International Tennis Federation, has awarded the Pakistan Tennis Federation the rights to host the Asia 12&U Team Competition, Regional Qualifying Event – South Asia 2021. 

The event will be held at the International standards Plexipave courts of the PTF Complex, Islamabad, from 13th to 18th September 2021.

Seven South Asian countries, which include Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and hosts Pakistan will compete in the Boys and Girls team events, each team consisting of 3 players and a non-playing captain. ITF Development Officer for South Asia, Mr. Jonathan Stubbs will be the ITF Representative for the event.

The top 2 teams in both the categories will qualify from the South Asia Regional Qualifying Event to the Finals of 2021 ITF Asia 12&U Team Competition to be held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan during the week of 22nd November 2021. 

Following the 2 x ITF Juniors Tournaments, and the Davis Cup Tie, in the first quarter of this year, this will be the third ITF-awarded event during 2021, to be followed by 2 more ITF Juniors and ATF (Asian Tennis Federation) Juniors before year-end.  Final dates for these are awaited from the ITF and the ATF.
