The Italian Open 2020 is scheduled to be held from 14th-21st September, according to decision taken by the Italian Tennis Federation. The tournament delayed by almost 4 months due to the corona virus pandemic, will be held in Foro Italico, Rome.

The Prize Money valued at € 5,433,555, the event will consist of 56 single category matches and 32 matches in the doubles category. The tournament is part of the ATP Masters 1000 events.

For the tournament strict safety rules being applied in brief are:

1- Players, umpires and others have to wear masks and maintain safe social distance.

2- Spectators will not be allowed.

3- All the matches will be on clay courts.
