The Round 1 fights of the IFRL Iran Freestyle Wrestling League 2020 will be held in Tehran starting from 1st October. The IWF Iran Wrestling Federation announced the decision in presence of the club representatives at its headquarter.
Ten clubs are shortlisted to contest the event in two groups.
The schedule for the second round of IFRL will be announced in collaboration with International Wrestling Federation as World Championships 2020 events are also expected to be held soon.
Corona pandemic related COVID-19 SOPs Standard Operating Procedures were also clarified. Thereafter, Health Ministry approved the game safety plan.
Further it was announced that Greco-Roman League for 11 clubs will also be organised by IWF in near future.
