Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel, Barry’s/BN 2 and Coca Cola Polo Team registered convincing victories in the Brighto Paints Lahore Open Polo Championship 2021 matches at the Lahore Polo Club.
Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel Vs Guard Group
High-flying Andres Llorente helped Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel thrash Guard Group by a big margin of 11-1. The star of the day, Andres Llorente, displayed outstanding polo skills and techniques and contributed with seven superb goals in Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel/s triumph. Mir Huzaifa Ahmed was another star of the day from the winning side as he fired in fabulous four goals. The only goal from the winning team was converted by Taimur Ali Malik.

Barry’s/BN 2 Vs Master Paints
The second match of the day saw Barry’s/BN 2 trouncing Master Paints by a good margin of 4-0. Babar Naseem played tremendously from Barry’s/BN 2 as he banged in a beautiful brace while his teammates Hamza Mawaz Khan and Ernesto Trotz scored one goal apiece. No goal was struck by any of the Master Paints players.
Coca Cola Polo Team Vs Monnoo Polo
The closely-contested third match of the day was won by Coca Cola Polo Team, who defeated Monnoo Polo by a close margin of 6-5. Waqas Khan and Tomas Reinoso emerged as star of the day as both played superb polo and pumped in two goals each from the winning side while Shaikh Muhammad Raffay and Mian Abbas Mukhtar converted one goal. The losing side also fought hard against the winners as their Iranian player Amir Reza Behboudi played superb polo against Barry’s/BN 2 and fired in fabulous five goals but his efforts couldn’t bear fruit for his team.
لاہور پولو کلب کے زیراہتمام برائیٹو پینٹس لاہور اوپن پولو چیمپئن شپ 2021ء کے چوتھے روز تین میچز کھیلے گئے جن میں ڈائمنڈ پینٹس /شیخو سٹیل،باڑیز/بی این ٹو اور کوکاکولا پولو ٹیم فاتح رہیں۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق برائیٹو پینٹس کے تعاون سے منعقدہ لاہور اوپن پولو چیمپئن شپ کے چوتھے روز تماشائیوں کی اور فیملیز کی بڑی تعداد گراؤنڈ میں موجود تھی۔ اس موقع پر لاہور پولو کلب کے صدر عمر صادق، ایگزیکٹو کمیٹی ممبرز شاہ قبلائی عالم، ثاقب خان خاکوانی، آغا نجیب رضا، سیکرٹری آغا مرتضی علی خان، ممبرز اور پولو کے کھلاڑی بھی موجود تھے۔ پہلے میچ میں ڈائمنڈ پینٹس /شیخو سٹیل نے گارڈ گروپ کو 11-1 سے ہرایا۔ ڈائمنڈ پینٹس /شیخو سٹیل کی طرف سے ایندرس لورنٹے نے شاندار کھیل پیش کیا اور سات گول سکور کیے جبکہ میر حذیفہ احمد نے چار گول سکور کیے۔ گارڈ گروپ کی طرف سے واحد گول تیمور علی ملک نے سکور کیا۔ دوسرے میچ میں باڑیز /بی این ٹو نے ماسٹر پینٹس کو 4-0 سے ہرا دیا۔ باڑیز /بی این ٹو کی طرف سے بابر نسیم نے شاندار کھیل پیش کیا اور دو گول سکور کیے جبکہ حمزہ مواز اور ارینسٹو ٹروٹز نے ایک ایک گول سکور کیا۔ تیسرے اور آخری میچ میں کوکاکولا پولو ٹیم نے دلچسپ مقابلے کے بعد منوں پولو کو 6-5 سے ہرا دیا۔ کوکاکولا پولو ٹیم کی طرف سے وقاص خان اور تھامس رینسو نے دو دو گول جبکہ رافع شیخ اور میاں عباس مختارنے ایک ایک گول سکور کیا۔ منوں پولو کی طرف سے عامر رضا بہبودی نے پانچوں گول سکور کیے۔ آج بروز ہفتہ تین میچز کھیلے جائیں گے۔
