Remounts and Barry’s/BN 2 qualified for the main final of the Brighto Paints Lahore Open Polo Championship 2021 after winning their respective semifinals at the Lahore Polo Club.
Semi 1 – Remounts Vs HN Polo
The first semifinal of the day saw collective team efforts helping Remounts outsmart HN Polo by a good margin of 7-4. Raja Temur Nadeem was the hero from the winning team as he hammered a hat-trick of goals while his teammates Swr (R) Naeem and ALD (R) Imran Shahid also contributed well and converted a brace each. Veteran polo player Raja Sami Ullah though continued to play impressive polo and cracked a convincing quartet yet his efforts could not bear fruit for his side, which lost the match by 4-7.
Semi 2 – Barry’s/BN 2 Vs Rijas Development/Master Paints
High-flying Hamza Mawaz Khan helped Barry’s/BN 2 beat Rijas Development/Master Paints by a close margin of 6-5 in the second match of the day. Hamza was in sublime form and contributed with an impressive hat-trick of goals while Ernesto Trotz and Babar Naseem also played well and slammed in two and one goal respectively. From the losing side, Mannuel Carranza and Mohib Shahzad did well with horse and mallet and pumped in three and two goals but their efforts were futile in the end.
لاہور (سپورٹس رپورٹر) لاہور پولو کلب کے زیراہتمام برائیٹو پینٹس لاہور اوپن پولو چیمپئن شپ 2021ء میں ری ماؤنٹس اور ٹیم باڑیز /بی این ٹو نے فائنل کیلئے کوالیفائی کرلیا۔ پہلے سیمی فائنل میں ری ماؤنٹس نے ایچ این پولو کو 7-4 سے جبکہ دوسرے سیمی فائنل میں باڑیز /بی این ٹو نے ریجاس /ماسٹر پینٹس کو 6-5 سے ہرا دیا۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق لاہور پولو کلب میں سیمی فائنلز کو دیکھنے کیلئے تماشائیوں کی اچھی تعداد موجود تھی۔ اس موقع پر لاہور پولو کلب کے صدر عمر صادق، سیکرٹری آغا مرتضی علی، ایگزیکٹو کمیٹی ممبرز، فیملیز کی بڑی تعداد بھی موجود تھی۔ پہلے میچ میں ری ماؤنٹس نے ایچ این پولو کو 7-4 سے ہرایا۔ ری ماؤنٹس کی طرف سے راجہ تیمور ندیم نے تین، سوار نعیم اور عمران شاہد نے دو دو گول سکور کیے جبکہ ایچ این پولو کی طرف سے راجہ سمیع اللہ نے چاروں گول سکور کیے۔ دوسرے سیمی فائنل میں ٹیم باڑیز /بی این ٹو نے ریجاس /ماسٹر پینٹس کو 6-5 سے ہرا دیا۔ باڑیز /بی این ٹو کی طرف سے حمزہ مواز نے تین، ارینسٹو ٹروٹز نے دو جبکہ بابر نسیم نے ایک گول سکور کیا جبکہ ریجاس /ماسٹر پینٹس کی طرف سے مینول کرانزا نے تین، محب شہزاد نے دو گول سکور کیے۔
