Islamabad bowled well and didn’t allow Balochistan Batsmen to play freely in first 15 overs. But the class of Badar Munir spoke for itself, he cut loose in the middle overs of the innings and took calculated risks. Shafiullah supported Badar by scoring 60 runs, they together made 191 runs for 2nd wicket partnership. For Islamabad Anees Javed and Ihtesham took 2 wickets each.

Islamabad target was 351 runs in 40 overs but to surpass the Balochistan Net Run Rate, Islamabad required to chase 351 runs in 30.3 overs to get place in the FINAL. Captain Anees Javed and Muhammad Safdar started the chase well and scored 115 runs in 11 overs.

Thereafter, Sajid Nawaz bowled Anees Javed on 44 runs and Muhammad Safdar also threw his wicket to steal a quick single in the same over, he made 65 runs off 37 balls, those two quick wickets unwrapped the chances of success for Balochistan team.

Afterwards, Muhammad Usman ran through the formidable batting line of Islamabad by taking 6 wickets rapidly. Islamabad batsmen fell like house of cards and whole team was bowled on just 176 runs in 17 overs. Muhammad Usman was the rocking bowling star for Balochistan with his 6 wickets for 89 runs in 8 overs. Badar Munir took 2 wickets and Sajid Nawaz bowled only one over and claimed 1 wicket.
