The ICC International Cricket Council paid tribute to legendary captain and batsman of Pakistan National Team – Babar Azam on his 26th birthday.

ICC commemorated his following performances through its twitter account:

  • 101 runs in just 127 balls in Pakistan vs New Zealand match of World Cup 2019
  • 6952 runs in 144 internationals
  • Joint-fastest to 1500 T20I runs in 39 innings
  • Most runs for Pakistan in a single World Cup 2019
  • No.2 ranked T20I batsman in the world

Mohammad Babar Azam was born in Lahore on 15th October 1994 and joined International Cricket in 2015. He had scored 2045 runs in 29 Tests, 3359 runs in 74 ODIs One Day Internationals and 1548 runs in 41 T20Is Twenty 20 Internationals.
