The T20 Series between Australia and West Indies have been postponed.

The series planned to be played in Queensland from 4th to 9th October have been delayed due to overlapping of its schedule with the IPL Indian Premier League to be held from 19th September to 10th November. However, the major reason of delaying the series by both the governing boards is as most all important players of Australia and WI West Indies are involved and legally committed to the IPL.

After rescheduling, an official of the Cricket Australia announced that the postponed T20 Series is expected to be held in 2021, sometime before the October – November T20 World Cup 2021.

Furthermore, Australia vs Zimbabwe ODI series and South Africa vs West Indies 2 Tests and 5 T20s Series have also been cancelled or postponed due to IPL 2020.
