The UEFA Europa League Trophy Tour is set to begin this week from Frankfurt, Germany ahead of the league’s 2020-21 session not only to excite the football fans across Europe but to raise funds for Syrian refugees as well.

This year’s charity theme is to collect football boots and sports shoes for refugee kids at the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. Football fans all across the continent are being urged to donate money or shoes under the #PassThemOn campaign.

The 2020 tour follows the successful campaign last year that saw more than 1,000 pairs of football shoes along with kits and other accessories raised for those made homeless by war and terrorism.

The tour will visit Frankfurt, Barcelona, Geneva, Rome, Amsterdam, Manchester and Warsaw, giving fans the opportunity to see the UEFA Europa League trophy up close and also a chance to meet football legends at surprise locations.

Every fan who donates a pair of boots will have the chance to win tickets to the UEFA Europa League final in Gdansk in 2021. The collected boots will be handed over at Zaatari in the summer in a public ceremony.
