The Cranbourne Racecourse management has banned two individuals from ever appearing at its horse racing venue after they caused chaos on the track in today’s race.

The invader, a shirtless man tried to invade the track at the Victoria racecourse but was tackled by a security person stationed there. A friend of his then joined the fray and helped him escape from guard’s grip.

The unnamed invader then went to the middle of the track near the finish line as riders raced towards the home bend. Fortunately, they narrowly avoided him and no one was hurt.

The disruptive duo was then seen running away from the racing track all the while congratulating each other.

The CEO of Cranbourne club Neil Bainbridge said that he had been ‘mortified’ by the bizarre occurrence and was greatful that no one got hurt in the ordeal.

He further stated that the pictures and footage of individuals in question had been provided to the Victoria police and they will not be allowed to enter the club in the future.
