Scotland’s national squad’s winger Tommy Seymour announced his retirement from International Rugby play on Thursday.

The Nashville-born Rugby star is the second player of World cup team to call it a day. John Barclay from Edinburgh also announced his retirement earlier in December 2019.

Seymour had been a prominent member of Scottish national team as well as British and Irish Lions. He scored 20 tries in 55 appearances during his six-year long stint as professional rugby player.

The 31-year-old announced his retirement on Twitter with a brief statement.
