LAHORE: Pakistan medal tally totalled to 9 after three more medals were won:
Meel Bazi event of Zurkhaneh: Bronze medals were won by Pakistan’s Arbab Sardar Ahmed Khan and also Afghanistan’s Ahmed Shakib Atahi. The Gold and silver medals were won by Iran and Azerbaijan respectively.
Wrestling: Abdul Wahab from Pakistan defeated Saudi Arab’s Fahad Ali Ghaznavi to win a bronze medal.
Athletics’: In the men’s 4x400m relay competition, Pakistan’s Nokar Hussain, Asad Iqbal, Mehmood Ali and Umar Sadat won the silver medal, with the team from Turkey winning the gold.
