The British F1 driver Lewis Hamilton announced that he would launch a team X44 in the Extreme E racing series.

The 35 years old Hamilton is inspired by the environmental focus of the newly introduced series. The races with electric cars for Extreme E series will commence from January 2021.

Details About X44 Team For Extreme E Racing Series:

1. Hamilron will guide and his X44 team will drive electric SUVs at 5 locations – Senegal, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Greenland and Brazil to create awareness about climate.

2. His X44 Team will contest against 9 other teams for Extreme E Racing Series championship.

3. Races will be held over 2 laps of around 16 km length.

4. Each team will comprise of one male and one female driver.

This is his second venture as he had already won 89 F1 Titles since his entry into F1 Racing Series in 2007. During 2020 season he had won 6 F1 Titles.

Hamilton’s interest will span over F1 Racing Series and Extrene E Racing Series from now on wards.
