The basketball legend Michael Jordan is set to form a new NASCAR Team. Jordan has partnered with racing car driver Denny Hamlin for this purpose.

The new NASCAR – National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing team will compete for the 2021 Cup Series season.

Bubba Wallace has been engaged as first driver.

According to Jordan, ‘The new team will facilitate them to combat systemic racism, educate a new audience and open more opportunities for Black people in racing.

Jordan also owns NBA team Charlotte Hornets.

In the past, Jordan served for Chicago Bulls to claim 6 NBA Titles – 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997 and 1998. Additionally, Jordan had been 6-time NBA MVP Most Valuable Player and 14-time NBA All-Star.
