Saturday night’s NBA – National Basketball Association fixtures included all major teams squaring off in a bid to dominate the 2020 season. Here are the highlights of last night’s matches:

LeBron James shined with 31 points and 12 assists as Los Angeles Lakers rallied in the third quarter to beat Huston Rockets 124-115. This was a must-win for Lakers who had lost their previous game to Rockets on Wednesday.


Utah Jazz dominated the game for the entire duration and defeated Sacramento Kings 123-101 aided by Rudy Gobert’s 28 points and 15 rebounds marking dunker’s season-high score. Marvin Bagley also contributed with 17 points for Jazz.


Chris Paul kept up his outstanding season-long performance and scored 30 points to lead Oklahoma City Thunder to a 119-106 victory against Portland Trail Blazers. Portland side was already at a disadvantage with 8 players squad due to injuries and unavailability of players.


Toronto Raptors registered a 122-112 victory over Minnesota Timberwolves thanks to Fred VanVleet’s spectacular comeback as the Toronto star scored 29 points in his first game after a long break due to hamstring injury.


Golden State Warriors ended their 10-games long losing streak by routing Orlando Magic 109-95 as D’Angelo Russell dominated the scoreboard with 26 points and 12 assists marking his season-best performance.


Chicago Bulls too recovered from a first-half slump and rallied from the down under to turn their 15 points trail into a 118-116 victory over Cleveland Cavaliers. Zach LaVine was the star performer of the night with a total of 42 points, 21 of which were scored in the fourth quarter.
