The WADA World Anti-Doping Agency has confirmed that during Olympics 2012 a total of 65 athletes were positive on doping test as compared to 9 positive tests. The details were shared by the WADA Vice President Yang Yang on 21st August.

The WADA retained the blood and urine samples of the athletes who participated in Olympics 2012.

Now a reanalysis of their samples has shown that 65 athletes of Olympics 2012 were positive for doping test. Whereas, the original analysis of blood and urine samples of athletes of Olympics 2012, during the year 2012 showed only 9 athletes positive for doping tests.

The findings are encouraged for the clean athletes campaign.
