 De Silva’s batting was the highlight of the day who managed to score fifty despite unfavorable conditions after narrowly surviving a caught-behind by Naseem Shah in 72nd over.

Rain was the obvious enemy on Day 2 and fans took to Twitter to vent their anger.

Bad light stops play again with floodlights on. I have a radical idea. The game should be switched to pink ball in such situations. Have the red ball back once the light improves. Thoughts? #PakvSL

Knowing this time of the year the weather is bad and shorter days, why didn’t they think of playing with pink balls in the first place?
This way they would have got the full days play. With red ball they were never ever going to have a full days play in Rawalpindi.
